  • Red stripe represents capture of ~ 6,000 data points
  • Data forms high-fidelity cloud of points defining part's geometry
  • Point cloud data appears on monitor during acquisition
  • Successive passes made until all features are captured
  • Multiple passes from a variety of angles and directions ensure full coverage
  • Overlapping passes averaged together automatically
  • Large parts and parts that require repositioning are possible
  • Point clouds with different coordinate systems are stitched together after acquisition
